Listening. Teaching listening is easy. All you have to do is put the CD in the CD player, and press Play. Piece of cake.
What’s that, you ask? Why do so many students have problems when it comes to listening? After all, don’t some people talk differently? Some speak fast, others slowly. Some have a British accent, others have a US accent, then there’s the Australian, the Canadian, the Irish, and etc. etc. etc.
OK, so maybe teaching listening isn’t so easy after all…
