Chile is beautiful. Let me repeat that. Chile is magnificent. Chile is marvelous, exciting, breath-taking, a superb experience of a lifetime. Even after 12 years of living here, Chile continues to surprise me, to amaze me, and to captivate me. She is always surprising, in all ways.

I live in Chile is a book that gives the would be traveler, the dedicated tourist, the outsider, a look into what it means to live in Chile. Food, culture, music, dance, traditions, holidays, history, landscape and people are seen through the eyes of an immigrant, an expat (myself), who has fallen in love with Chile, and now, calls Chile, “home”.

In this sense, the book is a unique personal account of life in Chile. It should be read by anyone who wants to know something about Chile that can not be found anywhere else, namely, a personal testimony of an outsider on the inside.
