New Video & New 2013 Catalog: Celebrating 1 Million Page Views!

1 Million Page views…

What a marvelously magnificent milestone! And it comes on the eve of the IATEFL Conference in Liverpool, and I’m one of the official bloggers for the conference. What a coincidence, how these two events converge, seemingly unrelated, and yet capable of informing the next million page views…

“Thank you” seems wholly inadequate to express the sense of disbelief I have (and you must have) that over 1 Million page views have happened on these pages…

Ouch! I pinched myself, to make sure I wasn’t dreaming, but I knew it would be reality, yes, it is true, there have been 1 Million page views on my blog. No, I haven’t won any awards for my blog, no prizes, no nominations.

You kind of expect that when you live literally at the farthest corner of the world, in between the world’s driest desert, the Atacama, and the coldest region on the planet, the Antarctica. Living in Chile, and blogging from here, is an exercise in self-initiated professional development.

The amazing thing is that so many of you, dear friend(s) and reader(s), have also come with me on this journey. Reflection is what professionals do, to try to make sense of what we do every day, as teachers, as leaders, as human beings. It’s what helps us to always set our goals ever higher, to believe in what we do, to help make a better world.

So, for reading, for visiting, for sharing, I humbly say, “Thank You”, all of you, for making my blog one of the coolest places to get informed about issues near and dear to your heart. Whether it is ELT or the latest in education news, whether local or global, this blog has what you are looking for.

One Million page views. One Million times someone has come here to find something they wanted to know more about. One Million times…

How do you celebrate something like this, One Million page views?

Obviously the only way to celebrate is by giving something away, by sharing something of value with you. Also, you make a new video, you make a new catalog. All of that stuff is up to date, going forward into the next million page views. A video and a catalog for you, brand new, up to date, just for you my friend.

So, please enjoy the video, take your time going through the catalog. It is well worth your time to do so. I have three new books that won’t disappoint you, and some new photographs thrown in for good measure.

A new catalog, a new video, 3 new books, and also a freebie, the Animoto free video educational account… Here’s the info you need:
