In earnest, all joking aside, I'm kind of surprised. My use of social media is consistent, regular, and often, especially if I'm promoting my books on Amazon, or promoting the Edcamp Chile 2013 conference, sorry, I meant to say, "unconference".

It's a bit harder to do if you live on an island, in an "archipiélago" composed of 14 islands, like Calbuco is. Here is what the mayor, or "alcalde" of Calbuco, Mr. Rubén Cárdenas Gómez, has to say about Calbuco:
"Nuestra ciudad fue fundada el 4 de mayo 1602 y actualmente cuenta con aproximadamente 35 mil habitantes, de los cuales 11 mil viven en la ciudad de Calbuco. El segundo centro poblado de la comuna es Pargua, punto de ingreso a la isla grande de Chiloé. El Archipiélago Calbucano está compuesto por 14 islas, entre las cuales se cuentan Puluqui, Huar, Chidhuapi, Huapi Abtao, Queullín, Quenu, Tabón, Chaullín (Helvecia), Quihua, Tautil, Lagartija, Nao, Caicaén y Maillina."
