With blogs you not only have the ability for students to post their own works, whether it be the analysis of a poem or what their favorite food is, but it also give you the option to have the give each other feedback and collaborate together.

Blogs are also a great way to liven up your lesson plans. It provides a new medium for learning that will get your students excited about discussion.

Through blogs you can also make sure that a student isn’t missing out on important information because they are absent. Record your notes for the day and post them to your blog so all your students have them at their fingertips.
